I have been turning wood since I retired from Nynex in 1995. It has been a continuation of a love affair I have had with wood all my life. I never cut a tree just to make bowls. Most of my wood comes from friends needing something cut or I find wood that would normally go to the land fill. I am still using some wood that fell in the ice storm of 98.
